Kshara Karma
Kshara Karma comes from Sanskrit, where “Kshara” means alkaline substance and “Karma” means procedure or therapy. It is a para-surgical Ayurvedic treatment that uses a specially prepared herbal alkaline paste to cauterize or remove unwanted tissue. This therapy is widely used for managing piles (hemorrhoids), fistula, polyps, haemorrhoids, fissure, Peri-anal Abscess, warts and certain non-healing wounds because it cleanses, disinfects, and promotes healthy new tissue growth. Kshara Sutra
Kshara Sutra comes from Sanskrit, where “Kshara” means alkaline herbal extract and “Sutra” means medicated thread. It is a specialized Ayurvedic para-surgical therapy in which a cotton thread coated with herbal alkaline preparations is gently tied through a fistula tract or over piles to cut, drain and heal the tissue. This technique promotes gradual excision, drainage, and healing with minimal pain and bleeding.
