Sneha Basti comes from Sanskrit, where “Sneha” means medicated oil or ghee and “Basti” means enema therapy. It is an Ayurvedic treatment in which warm, herbal oils are gently introduced into the colon to lubricate and cleanse. This therapy balances Vata dosha, relieves constipation, dryness, and lower back pain, and nourishes the tissues.
